Zurück in der Ukraine
Eine Nachricht unserer ehemaligen Freiwilligen Tanya:
Dear Friedenskreis team,
As I write this, I’m on my way back to Ukraine. Just a few hours ago, I crossed the border, and I can’t wait to see my parents tomorrow. But honestly, I’m not as excited to return home as I thought I would be. My mind is full of memories and flashbacks from this past year, and so much of that is thanks to all of you.
I am truly grateful for having had the chance to work alongside such kind, supportive, and inspiring people. My time at Friedenskreis wasn’t just about the work we did, but about the warmth and care you all showed me throughout. Every project, meeting, and shared lunch became a part of my experience, and I will carry those moments with me for a long time.
Thank you for your patience, your guidance, and for making me feel welcome from the very start. I’ve learned so much from each of you, and it’s because of the support and friendship I received here that I was able to grow, not just professionally, but personally.
I’ll miss the conversations, the laughs, and the team spirit that made Friedenskreis such a special place to be. Though I’m heading home now, I hope to return to Halle someday, and when I do, I’d love to see all of you again. A part of me will always stay connected to this year and to the wonderful people I met along the way.
Wishing you all the best in your future projects, and I hope our paths cross again someday.
