„Hate is a dead end street. Promoting tolerance in Bosnia & Herzegowina“
The lecture presents perspectives on a better future for Bosnia & Herzegovina from the point of view of organizations, which have the common goal of promoting tolerance and fighting every type of discrimination in our society. In that way they preventively stop incidents motivated by prejudices and criminal acts done out of hate.
We will begin with a short introduction about the situation in Bosnia and especially the problem of prejudice and criminial acts done out of hate, e.g. between nationalities. Afterwards some peace building activities will be presented - for example events such as a week of tolerance and trainings that promote "Super citizens" - who loves his or her life and respects others.
There will be the possiblity to ask questions about the current situation in Bosnia-Herzegowina, to discuss similiarities and differences in German and Bosnian peace work and talk about current societal trends in both countries.
